Dinner (Steak or Chicken or Veg.), Dance (Music By Aaron Gordon and Friends), and Silent Auction
Fundraiser to help Save Kin Park - the oldest in-situ, horse race track in Canada.
The land was donated by Cornelius O'keefe for this purpose in 1885, and the Horse Race Charter owned by the Vernon Jockey Club dates back to 1893.
Come enjoy a wonderful dinner, great music, and bid on some awesome & unique silent auction items, including an original piece of art created by the famous Vernon artist, Michelle Loughrey, for this event!
Learn the history of Kin Race Track Park, and with you financial and moral support, help us keep it as a wonderful part of the community and heritage of Vernon. We hope to see it thrive again, as in the past, for equestrian and agricultural purposes, including but not limited to horse racing.
A slide show with historical pictures and details of our current goals will also be available, as will debentures and memberships for those that are interested.
