Ballet Kelowna ushers in spring with a captivating and inspiring collection of dance celebrating the power of the human spirit. Join the full company of dancers for our first-ever livestreamed performance featuring the world premiere of Kirsten Wicklund’s hauntingly beautiful Disembark, the world premiere of Gekko, a poetic solo created by Seiji Suzuki, and the return of Alysa Pires’ mesmerizing In Between. Tickets to this event are by donation.

Registration provides access to the live performance on April 17, as well as on demand. The performance will be available within 24 hours of the livestream and may be accessed until 10:00pm PST on April 24, 2021.
About Ballet Kelowna:
Founded in 2002, Ballet Kelowna is the sole professional dance company in BC’s Interior. The organization is committed to its role as a leader in the region through encouraging, promoting, and developing Canadian dancers and choreographers. The Company performs annually for more than 12,000 audience members in Kelowna and on tour and provides unique dance training opportunities and outreach programs. Artistic Director and CEO, Simone Orlando, is an award-winning choreographer and former dancer with Ballet BC and The National Ballet of Canada.
