A swashbuckling adventure begins on the high seas! What you think is an ordinary day at the beach, may become magical! Travel back to three hundred years and join Blackbeard the Pirate and his crew of zany marauders as they travel the stormy seas. On their adventures you'll encounter a pack of upset crocodiles, beautiful and happy mermaids, grumpy crabs, and all sorts of sea-borne critters. Watch out for the pirate’s parrots, they can be squawky!
The Missoula Children's Theatre (MCT), the USA’s largest touring children’s theatre, has been touring extensively for more than 40 years, from Montana to Japan, and will visit nearly 1,200 communities this year with up to 44 teams of Tour Actors/Directors. A Tour team will arrive at the Vernon & District Performing Arts Centre with a set, costumes, props and make-up, everything it takes to put on a play--except the cast! ALL the roles are played by YOU! Join Missoula Children’s Theatre for a theatre camp like no other, where you can shine on stage and learn what it’s like to be a real performer!
