Accompanying Rob is accomplished guitarist Dixon Zalit who as Rob puts it "plays anything with strings on it". Dixon's sensitive playing on both guitar and mandolin are always a highlight of their show. Adding the dynamics of bass guitar and harmony vocals is Kevin Bader also from Vernon. Kevin is known for his song writing and vocal abilities and when on stage with the trio, Kevin melds his singing skills and musical abilities to enhance the rich sounds of modern "cowboy music". Rob calls the trio "Open Range" to denote the freedom in a cowboys life and music. Open Range is hard to nail down in terms of genre as the lyrics ride western, country, blues or swing music.
