Ring in the holiday season with an enchanting evening and afternoon of music as AURA Chamber Choir proudly presents its annual Christmas concert, featuring Benjamin Britten’s A Ceremony of Carols and Conrad Susa’s Carols and Lullabies: Christmas in the Southwest. AURA Chamber Choir invites you to join us for a Ceremony of Carols.
Audiences will be transported by Britten’s beloved A Ceremony of Carols, a choral masterpiece that blends medieval texts with modern harmonies, accompanied by the ethereal sounds of harpist Hayley Lundgren. The concert continues with Susa’s vibrant Carols and Lullabies, a multicultural celebration of the season, featuring the rich textures of guitar and percussion performed by guest artists Kevin Robinson and Will Friesen.
To cap off the evening, the choir invites the audience to join in a heartwarming sing-along of favorite Christmas carols. Feel the warmth of community as we sing together in joyful harmony.
