Marcel comes from Germany and Elizabeth is from Canada. They could have been competitors, but, instead, chose to complement each other’s talent. The Bergmann Piano Duo’s dynamic and energetic performances of uniquely eclectic programs have inspired audiences for more than two decades. Their recitals and concerts with orchestra have taken them to many parts of the world, including the United States, Italy, Germany, The Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, France, Macedonia, Greece, China and Canada.

In addition to their performing careers they enjoy teaching and working in their capacities Artistic Directors of White Rock Concerts. Elizabeth is also Artistic Director of Concerts at the Langley Community Music School and Marcel has held a position as Professor of Music at Mohawk College in Hamilton. Both Elizabeth and Marcel have been on the faculty of Mount Royal University and University of Calgary as well as being involved in musical projects at The Banff Centre for the Arts. In 2004/2005, they served as Artistic Directors of The Murray Dranoff International Two Piano Competition and Foundation in Miami. For many years, they were members of the Calgary based group Land’s End Chamber Ensemble, and were recipients of the 2005 and 2006 Western Canadian Music Awards for Outstanding Classical Recording.

Subscriptions for NOCCA’s five Concert 2024 – 2024 Season may be renewed through Ticketseller at $150 for adults ($30/concert) and $75 for students (22 and under).

We have lined up an incredible and diverse season and we are excited to present these artists for our patrons and guests. As we continue in our efforts to return to pre-Covid numbers, we hope you will renew your subscription, and maybe encourage a few friends to become subscribers as well. As we enter our third full season after the pandemic shutdown, we have not gotten over our delight at being able to, once again, be in a concert hall surrounded by live music. Here’s hoping we will always treasure our appreciation for these types of performances.
