Celebrating 26 years of live music in the North Okanagan, the Vernon Jazz Club is beloved by artists and audiences alike for its superb music and sound, cool heritage vibe, cherished bar and dance floor! One of three jazz-primary clubs in BC, the Club features local, Canadian and international artists in ~20 live performances annually from September to May. This entirely volunteer operated not-for-profit society, was founded in 1999 with a first performance in the basement of the Sandman Inn, moving in 2000 to the historic ‘Vernon Club’ above Nolan’s Pharmacy.
Jazz comes in all forms at the Vernon Jazz Club, from classics to the blues; latin, soul, funk and fusion; piano, vocal and more. Jazz Jams run alternate Wednesdays with an ‘all ages’ welcome. In addition, the Vernon Folk & Roots hosts several performances a year at the Club. Enjoy Vernon’s 140-seat cabaret-style live music venue--enhancing the downtown core and contributing to regional cultural and tourism offerings. For info and tickets go to VernonJazz.com.
