Mackie Lake House cordially invites guests of all ages (and their stuffies) to join us for an unforgettable tea party in our garden. Families will enjoy a fun-filled morning with music, activities and a delicious plate of traditional tea sweets and savories. Tea is served in elegant fine bone China on the beautiful verandah and gardens that overlook Kalamalka Lake.

Schedule:

11:00AM - 11:15AM = arrival and seating

11:15AM - 12:00PM = tea party

12:00PM - 1:00PM= games and activities

Each ticket equates to one meal. All children must be accompanied by a ticket-holding adult.

This event is best suited to kids ages 2 - 12, but younger children are welcome and do not need a ticket if they are not eating. It’s fancy, but not pompous. If a teacup breaks, oh well!

Make sure to dress accordingly for this outdoor summer event. After the tea party, enjoy time on our grounds and access to the beach.

Seating:

Tickets sold to a single patron will automatically be seated together. If you’d like to make some new friends at tea, let us know if we can seat you with another party! If you would like to make additional seating requests, please leave us a note in the comments box during checkout.

Dietary Requests:

We can accommodate vegetarian and gluten sensitive diets. Please email us in advance at [email protected] to inquire.

Parking:

Onsite parking is limited. We encourage patrons who are able to park next door at Sovereign Park, or nearby along Linden Drive, and leave parking spaces at Mackie Lake House for those with mobility concerns.

Accessibility:

Tea is served either on the veranda, which is accessible by two steps, or outdoors, accessible by gravel path and/or lawn. Let us know if you're bringing other kiddos in strollers in the comments so we can seat you comfortably. Our washrooms are wheelchair accessible, gender neutral, and can accommodate a caregiver.
